Run With Rotary

Our flagship project since 2006, Run With Rotary is an annual 5k Run and 1-mile Ramble. Runners and walkers of all ages and levels are welcome to participate in the April event. The event builds community, offers an opportunity for healthy outdoor exercise and has raised funds for Rotary's charitable giving projects. This is a major local event, held at Skillman Park, with close to 1,000 runner/walkers participating each year! And, in 2018, our Club partnered with the Montgomery Environmental Commission to have their Earth Day Fair follow the Run event. Run with Rotary is a fun community event for the whole family to enjoy.

The 2019 Run With Rotary will be held on May 5th. For more info visit www.runwithrotary.org

Teams are encouraged to enter the Run or Ramble.  Ribbons will be awarded to the Most Spirited team and the Best Dressed team.  Donations will be made to the top three Recruiting Champs.  Additional categories to be recognized include the Cougar Award, the Community Service Award, the Most Courageous Award, and the Family Award.

New this year will be the Kid Korral, a safe, supervised area for kids ages 4 to 8 to play and be entertained while their parents enjoy the Run or Ramble.  Also new this year, the Run With Rotary will be the first race in the Greater Princeton Race Series.  All registrants will receive a commemorative bead to collect from this and the other races in the series.

The Run With Rotary is the principal fundraising event for the Montgomery-Rocky Hill Rotary Club and its charitable foundation.  Formerly known as the “Run with Aimee,” this wonderful race was first held in 1997. After ten successful years, the founding family decided to end its participation in the race. The club, at the urging of the Montgomery Township Recreation Department, volunteered to continue this important community activity.  The Montgomery-Rocky Hill Rotary Club supports many local, regional and international service projects and organizations.  As part of its 25th anniverary, the club donated awards in 2015 to these five organizations: the Samaritan Homeless Interim Project, HomeFront, the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, the Crisis Ministry of Mercer County, and the Montgomery Food Pantry.
